Rupya for Android. Straight from here, as an APK.
The Android app isn't on Google Play yet, so you can install it from this page instead. Keep your entries on your phone with no account, or sign in to have them on the web too. The iPhone app is coming soon.

Where would you like to keep your entries?
You can switch later in Settings.
How do I install it?
- Download the APK on your Android phone, from this page.
- Open the file from the download notification, or find it in your Files app.
- Allow installs when Android asks. It asks once for the app you opened the file from, such as your browser, WhatsApp or Files.
- If Play Protect warns you, tap More details, then Install anyway. It warns because the app isn't from the Play Store yet.
- Open Rupya and choose where to keep your entries: on the phone with no account, or in a Rupya account that the web app shares.
How do updates work?
Download the newer APK and install it over the one you have. Your entries and settings stay, because every Rupya APK is signed with the same key. When a newer version is out, the app shows a banner, and this page always offers the newest one.
Which phones does it work on?
Phones with Android 7 or newer. The APK carries both 64-bit and 32-bit ARM, the chips nearly every Android phone uses.
Is there an iPhone app?
It's coming soon to the App Store. Until then, the web app works in any phone's browser: create an account or log in, and your entries are the same on the web and in the Android app.
Questions people ask
Is it safe to install an APK?
Get Rupya only from this page, which links to Rupya's own releases on GitHub. Every version is signed with the same Rupya key, and its SHA-256 is published with it, so you can check the file is the one released. The app never asks for bank passwords, card numbers or UPI PINs.
Why isn't it on the Play Store yet?
Rupya is in early access, and the Google Play listing is on its way. The APK lets Android users start now.
Will my data stay when I update?
Yes. Installing a newer APK over the old one keeps your entries and settings. In phone-only mode your entries live only on the phone, so uninstalling the app removes them: keep a backup, or move them to a Rupya account first.
Is the Android app free?
Yes. Everything in Rupya is free during early access, with no ads.
